I had rhino/septum surgery on February 12, I have mucous. My surgeon told me I couldn't blow my nose.

Today I had to, I couldn't breathe at all. Can I hurt or damage the surgery?

At 1 month following rhinoplasty, you are early in your recovery and there is still swelling present. However, from the photo that you have included, it appears that your nasal tip is deviated to your right. This may be something that was present prior to surgery or may be new after rhinoplasty....

You can try fillers, but they can become expensive over time. I don't think it's worth it in your case.

Hi Akosijhay06,Realistic expectations are very important with any facial aesthetic procedure, especially with rhinoplasty.  You can have augmentation rhinoplasty, but your best bet to be "able to have a nose that looks like an arab" will be wearing a burka.  Good luck and be well.Dr....

Nasal congestion is common after a septoplasty.  The inside of the nose swells, and many surgeons advise patients not to blow their nose in order to minimize the risk of a nosebleed.  The congestion often improves in 5-7 days, but sometimes can last longer.
