I think you are manipulated images, a relatively straightforward, and the number one image can definitely be achieved. Bringing in your waist to the point of number three is probably not feasible without significant weight loss in conjunction with well done Liposuction. Obviously, getting quality outcomes is highly dependent on finding the right provider. Liposuction results very dramatically, depending on who does the surgery. There’s more variation in Liposuction skill then just about any other plastic surgery operation I’ve seen. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. There are a substantial number of plastic surgeons or simply not good at Liposuction. Contouring that part of the body is in my opinion the best done with patients laying on their side. This is fairly challenging when general anesthesia is used in which case surgery is generally done with people laying on their back or on their abdomen. When laying on your back or on your belly, the contour of your side is changed dramatically, and this influences, the ability to contour the area to satisfactory results. Lots of plastic surgeons, quality work using general anesthesia. My personal preference is to keep patients awake using local anesthesia with mild sedation, and I find this highly advantageous when it comes to properly contouring bodies, especially the hips, waist and outer thigh. The type of anesthesia is probably not the most important variable, but it does contribute to something really, and the type of results that can be obtained in my opinion. It is definitely possible to position people on their sides under general anesthesia so this is fairly cumbersome and surgeons typically aren’t making friends with the anesthesiologist or the nursing staff by requesting them to position patients this way, especially moving back-and-forth. The main thing to take in consideration is properly vetting, plastic surgeons, and this is the best done by seeing as many before, and after pictures of previous patients, who have a similar body characteristics to your own. To find the right provider, I suggest scheduling multiple in person consultations. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients who look just like you. An experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shot a handful of preselected images representing the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. Likewise, being shown results on different parts of the body or patients who don’t look like you is not very representative. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The more consultations you scheduled them or likely you are to find the best provider for your needs. In order to properly vet, plastic surgeons, and to get an accurate assessment, I suggest avoiding virtual consultations whenever possible. The more consultations you schedule the more likely you are to find the best provider. Considering how much variation there is in Liposuction skills among board-certified plastic surgeons, I suggest starting the process by having at least five consultations before even considering scheduling surgery. Poorly done, Liposuction can leave people disfigured and poor results are very difficult to improve upon. From the pictures you have included. You are an excellent candidate for body contouring using Liposuction. The difference between getting your wish pictures and not comes down to finding a sufficiently talented provider. Do not assume that being board-certified and plastic surgery with years of experience, and an overall good reputation means someone has mastered any one single procedure especially not Liposuction. The learning curve for this procedure is far longer and steeper than most people realize, and this includes a significant number of plastic surgeons review the procedure as being simplistic. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection when it comes to this procedure. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
