Blackish shadow - could this be migrated filler? (Photo)

After a year it is doubtful there would be much filler left to migrate, but it's not impossible. I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation. They hopefully will have before photos so you can compare what you are seeing now. If it is filler you can have it dissolved with hyaluronidase.

Hey there!It sounds like initially you were experiencing bruising, as this can present as dark purple or even black. The darkness you're having now, its difficult to tell the cause exactly without seeing a before photo, however since it has been a year some of the filler could be starting to metabolize or dissolve. As a result of this, you are now starting to see this shadow. I always recommend referring back to the provider who did the treatment as well. I hope this helps.Thank you!
