How to remove keloid scar after lip lift? (photo)

There are many options available for scar revision depending on the type of scar that you have. 
Scar revision requires a disciplined approach to address the different characteristics of scars including texture, color, level of inflammation, vascularity, and hypertrophy. Our office specializes in scar revision because we have both cosmetic dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and general surgeons within our center. The ideal scar treatment is combination therapy that incorporates vascular lasers, microfractional RF and laser, microneedling, Micro-ionization ablation, PRP, topical growth serums and polysiloxane topical gels, and surgery if indicated.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Based on your photograph, you may benefit from another surgical scar revision of your lip lift scar.  This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

Hi and thank you for your question and photo.
I would not classify your lip lift scar as a keloid.  Rather, it appears to be a widened and hypertrophic scar.  This is most often caused by a wound that is closed under tension.  I would recommend waiting before undergoing another scar revision.  If another revision is performed at this time, it will be very difficult, or even impossible, to achieve a tension-free closure.  This will result in the exact same outcome.  I would suggest using silicone sheets / gel to help improve the wound healing.  I would also consider treatment with laser resurfacing to help improve the color and texture of the scar.  If after an additional 6 months of healing you are still unsatisfied with the result, another revision could be considered.
