thank you very much for your question. The Fibroadenoma is a benign lesion you frequently find in breast tissues. Where it is not associated with breast cancer it can be painful or a cause for concern. Many women opt to have them removed. If in a larger volume or quantity breast reconstruction to restore the original size might be necessary. It can be done at the same time. Have a wonderful rest of the day
Fibroadenomas should be shelled out of the breast without taking any normal breast tissue. They compress breast tissue, not invade it, so when they come out, the breast tissue always (nearly) goes back to normal. I have taken out 12cm fibroadenomas and the breast has gone back to a normal size after, within days.If you want implants as a cosmetic enhancement, do that on another occasion - I wouldn't combine the two as when you put implants in, do as little as possible, to reduce infection risk.
Thanks for your question. Fibroadenomas are generally benign lumps in the breast that are removed with having to do a mastectomy. If the breasts are deformed after removing the fibroadenomas then breast reconstruction can be utilize to restore the breasts.

Thanks for the great question. When reconstructing one side there is almost always considerable asymmetry during the expansion phase. Since there is another surgery to remove the expander and place a more "permanent" implant we have an opportunity to adjust most asymmetries. However, your left...
Dear kyliegr,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, ...
There can be a number of reasons why your reconstructed breast is smaller and without knowing your full history (previous radiation? size of your breasts prior to surgery? health of the breast skin after mastectomy? type of mastectomy, etc) I would be guessing. What I can offer are possible...
