Temporary implant to one side after mastectomy still there two years later, is due to be removed but still waiting , bruising to skin is expanding. Is this normal or am I unwell?

Bruising or erythema/redness at this point is outside of normal, unless you have had a recent expansion of significant volume and/or radiation. I would recommend you consult with your surgeon immediately, this may be a sign of late implant infection vs. seroma amongst a few other possibilities. Best of luck to you!

Increased swelling, redness and/or bruising is not normal two years after implantation.  I recommend you contact your surgeon for evaluation.
