It is very unlikely that you will be able to do any treatment on your own to successfully "glue" the broken piece of veneer back onto the remaining tooth and broken veneer. And definitely, forget Crazy Glue, a mistake made by many patients. It wouldn't work, and you might even glue your fingers to your lips.Highly advise you return to your dentist to get his professional assistance in solving your problem. That being said, it is also unlikely, based on the photo you have sent, that he will be able to successfully bond the broken piece back either. It might last a short time (days or weeks), but extremely unlikely that it will last months or years. My advice, don't waste your time and money for something that will be very short lived and get it done right. That of course means having your dentist fabricate a new porcelain veneer for you. Suggestion, there are some very strong porcelains available today that should last a long time. My favorite is a porcelain called EMax. Ask your dentist what kind of porcelain he used on the one that broke on you. My guess is that was one of the older, weaker porcelains, called feldspathic porcelain. Good luck...hope you solve your problem soon. Embarrasing and not fun walking around with a broken front tooth.
