Is it possible to regain orbital fat after rapid weight loss or will I need surgery?

I am 45 years old and recently had a rapid weight loss due to stress and malnutrition which caused the orbital fat on my eyes to disappear. My eyes have now turned hollow looking and I would like to know if I gain the weight back will it return to my eyes or is surgery my only option?

Depends.I typically recommend waiting 7 to 10 days after fat transfer to fly, by this time a significant amount of the swelling has subsided.  Your flight and travel seems to be very long so I would check with your surgeon for his or her approval.Blood clots are always a risk during long...

Your desires can be safely accomplished with fat grafting to your hips. Cost is dependent on operating room time and surgery complexity. Visit with a few plastic surgeons to educate yourself and find a staff your comfortable with.good luck
