I had septoplasty and turbinate reduction 10days ago. The Dr. put dissolvable ‘splints’ in the exterior area of my nose and said it would take months for them to dissolve. The pain is awful - at the top of each one (see bumps circled), where my glasses rest on my nose, it feels like needles sticking through the skin. I returned for help and got anti-inflammatory meds. 2 days on that and it isn’t better. What do you suggest?
