Dysport is safe. Brow drop risks is assessed in person and not online. I suggest a formal consultation for best results. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo
Good morning,Yes, Dysport is safe and effective for women in their sixties and older. We have many patients in our practice that are in this demographic. The key is to focus more on the muscles that will offer a natural lifting of brows/eyes and a softening of the wrinkles and lines. When someone experiences drooping eyelids and eyebrows, the problem usually arose from the way the forehead muscle was treated. In our practice, we preach being very conservative in this area or to avoid all together when the benefits do not outweigh a potential negative. Having an injector that is meticulous with a treatment plan is key. We are close to your location, so please see the below link for more information.Regards.
Yes, Dysport is safe to use in someone who is 66. Well-placed Dysport should not cause the eyebrows to droop, however the results are temporary and could be softened with venus legacy or thermage treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Yes you can still enjoy the benefits of Dysport injections at your age! The treatment is done in the office with final results seen up to two weeks after injection. Always see an experienced injector for your treatment.
Dysport is safe in women over 66 as long as you are healthy and there are no contraindications for having the treatment. Eyebrow drooping is temporary and will not likely happen with the appropriate amount of Dysport.
Thank you for your question. Dysport is safe for women over 66 years old. It should always be administered by a specialist. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
Dysport is a brand of botulinum toxin which is safe to use in most adult women even after age 65. It is important to have an in-office examination to determine that you are medically healthy and able to have botulinum toxin injections. Infections, open sores, and other conditions may prevent you from having Dysport injected. Your physician should be able to examine you and determine whether you are at risk of having "droopy" eyebrows or eyelids after receiving dysport. If this does occur, your eyebrows or eyelids will return to their natural position once the Dysport wears off. This may take 3-4 months to wear off. Hope this helps!!Johnson C. Good Day. Thank you for your question.Simple answer: Dysport is has been shown to be safe in adults of any age, as long as you don't have one of the neuromuscular disorders that are a contraindication, such as Myasthenia Gravis.Your concern on Forehead Drooping has validity. The risk is related to the location and the amount (units) injected into both the forehead (frontalis muscle) and the eye sphincter (orbicularis oculi). The former muscles function is to elevate the brow and the later to pull the brow down. It is a push-me-pull-you situation.Excess frontalis muscle injection can lead to the brow drooping with an incidence about 3%. With cautious injection of lower amounts of units in patients with an unknown response and the proper injection of the adjacent muscles lowers the risk of complications.Neuromodulators is the number 1 or most common aesthetic procedure performed in the United States.Best of luck.
Hi there, No, you should not get Dysport (or Botox) injections while pregnant — neither is considered safe during pregnancy. There are no well-controlled human studies proving the safety of botulinum toxin type A (the active ingredient in both Dysport and Botox) during pregnancy. While the a...
Good Day.. Thank you for your response.Simple answer: Yes, Dysport can produce an allergic response, but less likely with your time line.I recommend seeing an allergist to examine you and acquire a detailed history to determine if it is most likely an allergic response, and the etiology of the...
Dysport injected into the glabella area should reduce the ability of those muscles to contract and result in improvement of the frown lines. If you are still able to animate freely then a higher dose may be needed. Return to your injector for an evaluation.
