Can I have my nipples permanently hard(erect)? Is there a procedure that will do this?

Hi Is there a procedure to make my nipples if so what is it called and who is best to do it ? I read fillers may do but it is there a better method that is known to work. My nipples are find in every way. I just prefer them to be erect all the time. A reply would be appreciated even if not of interest to you please. Thanks Karen

There are different ways to keep nipples erected; placement of local tissue (flap)  from areola in the nipple and/or placement of small particles of cartilage are some of the possibilities. However, with all of these procedures you may loose ability to breast feed due to need to remove nipple attachments to structures like milk ducts and associated muscles. You should have an in-person evaluation and discussion with a board certified plastic surgeon with good experience in treatment of inverted nipples and nipple reconstruction. Good luck.
