You have a few options to improve the symmetry of your chin crease. If you want to improve the chin and crease, I’d suggest augmenting your chin with Sculptra and/or Voluma. Hope this helps.
The chin crease, technically referred to as the mental crease, the kind that is quite evident in your photos, is a very common problem that can easily be treated by the use of injectable fillers that provide lift, such as Restylane Lyft, which I use in my Manhattan practice or Hyabell Deep, which I prefer in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available. Not only can the crease be improved in this way, but elevating the crease also secondarily raises the lower lip immediately above enhancing and creating a more sensual pout. I have found this to be a very popular treatment in my practices, and one which often is accompanied by nonsurgical chin augmentation when this is found to also be necessary. Make sure that you consult with an experienced board certified aesthetic physician, since this is an advanced injection technique that should not be left to the hands of novice injectors accustomed to treating ordinary smile lines with simple Restylane or Juvederm. Best of luck.
Fillers can help improve the appearance of a deep chin crease. There are various fillers that work well in this area. Depending on the depth of the crease, I usually use fillers from the Juvederm or Restylane family of products. More important than the type of filler is the skill of the injector, so make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician injector. Best wishes.
Hello. You have amazing lips and skin! Consultation is vital with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dermatologist, Facial ENT, or Certified Aesthetics Nurse Specialist. The chin muscle aka Mentalis needs several units of a neuromodulator: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin. This process will relax the muscle thus relaxing the crease. Amazing results! Some dermal filler might be required just to side left and right side of the chin for a more oval smooth round lower face.
Fillers can be used to help improve the area that concerns you. The treatment is done in the office with the results lasting 1-2 years depending on the product selected. Visit with an experienced injector in your area for a discussion of your goals.
Thank you for your question. I would use either Resytlane Silk, Resytlane Refyne, Belotero or juvederm "volbella." Any of the thinner fillers will work fine in that crease. Hope this helps. Best, Dr. Thuy Doan. Atlanta
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
There can be some swelling and/or lumps after filler injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results you can have it r...
