I agree it looks like a rash, you should take a warm shower and use a non irritating soap like ivory or dove than apply a water based non allergenic moisturizer. Repeat this twice a day if it doesnt get better see your surgeon or a dermatologist
Thanks for your pic and ? That rash looks like something we call contact dermatitis. The most frequent culprit is Neosporin because it has neomycin in it. It could also be the adhesive. You should ask your plastic surgeon. Sometimes we use a topical steroid, but the area usually resolves when the agent is stopped. Best of Luck!
photo indicates a severe allergic dermatitis rash. Seek in person medical care ASAP. Call your surgeon and see him/her.//
It does look like you have a contact dermatitis related to the tape. Best to ask your surgeon for recommendations.
Thank you for your question. The geometric rash that you have in your picture appears to be contact dermatitis. This is easily treated. I recommend that you make an appointment with your plastic surgeon to discuss treatment options.

This type of rash can be caused by a number of agents, including the adhesive in the tape, the solution we apply to the skin before the tape (e.g. - Mastisol) or a topical antibiotic like Neosporin. Thank you for your question. Depending on activity (more activity, more swelling) at least 8-12 weeks minimum. I hope this helps.
Thanks for your question. I recommend a bra with good support but no underwire. In general, most of the work should be done internally as opposed to externally. Best of luck.
Unfortunately there probably isn't any insurance company that will cover your asymmetry as it is not considered medically necessary. Breast reduction surgeries are sometimes covered when they cause physical pain, even then it can be hard to get approval. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon...
