Could this be symmastia? (Photo)

Question

Im 5 weeks out from having my breast implants replaced along with a lift. Someone pointed out to me that i might want my dr to check for stymastia. I thought that the weirdness between my breast was just scare tissue and it would go away. If it os stymastia would my dr be responsible to fix it?

Symmastia is the process in which the pockets of your breast implants are not separated at the midline of your chest and are connected.  Just based on your pictures, it appears they are close but still separate.  Also, given you're only 5 weeks from your surgery some of that may still be residual swelling.  Allow about 3 months for that to go away and then re-evaluate.

Thank you for the question and photos and though an examination and pre op photos would be helpful you definitely have webbing between your breasts and possibly in an early stage of symmastia Dr Corbin
