I had restylane done under my eyes 2 weeks ago and have unfortunately developed Malar Edema. I will be having the filler reversed but not before my sisters wedding which is this weekend; I just can’t risk any bruising or additional swelling. I’ve been taking Zyrtec and added Benadryl last night. What can I do to reduce/minimize the awful appearance? Prednisone? Diuretic? Heat? Ice? Massage? Vibration? I’m open to any and all suggestions.

Hi @bcerva62. Restylane and Juvederm are great fillers for the Marionette lines. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima.
Hi @SpritelyBadger! I recommend dissolving the filler with Hyaluronidase. Always seek treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Yes, this may be the Tyndall effect, but you'll need a consultation to determine if filler is present and creating these results. If it is filler, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.
