Do I have a hematoma from my lip fillers? (Photo)

So I got 1 cc of restylane injected to my lips and have two huge red and black lumps and bruises on my bottom lip , could they be hematoma? How should I treat this ?

Hi @lyncoto. Based on your photo, you have normal bruising and swelling. This can take up to two weeks to resolve. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Im sorry to hear that you aren't pleased with your results. Typically filler isn't used in the 11's because it doesn't treat the root of the problem. Dysport and Botox are usually a better treatment because they weaken the muscle that causes the 11's. Another reason most injectors stay away...

Hello and thank you for your question.  This looks like mild bruising that will resolve within 7-10 days or sooner. Some people find that Arnica or Bromelain help speed the healing process.

I recommend following up with your injector. This should be fine, but it can take up to 2 weeks for swelling to subside after lip fillers. Hope this helps.
