It did not completely filled the area under either eye. 3 weeks ago, I got Belotero and now it looks like it's too much. I was hoping that it would come down but it doesn't seem like it will come down and even out on it's own. I think this is slightly better than no filler, but not but much. My eyes still look tired. Should I wait and hope it dissolves to the the right volume over time? Someone also mentioned PRP to even it out.
Answer: Non surgical Blepharoplasty correction Hello and thank you for your question. Being that it has been 3 weeks after your treatment, it is safe to say that too much product was injected. This is a quick and easy fix with a little hyaluronidase, an injectable enzyme made to dissolve fillers such as Belotero and Restylane. The under eye area can be tricky to treat and depending on the type of under eye "bags", there are different methods of injecting. Be sure to see an experienced injector. Best of luck.

Answer: What to do about overfill of fillers Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photograph. The area around the eyes is delicate and requires special attention. Have the fillers dissolved and reinjected. See an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon for detailed evaluation and guidance. Good luck,

Answer: Lower blepharoplasty after eyelid filler injection If the goal is to remove the filler, hyaluronidaze can do that. But it appears you have under eye fat bags which is best treated with transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with repositoining of the eye fat bags to the hollow area, so it addresses both the bags and hollowness in long-term fashion.

Answer: Unhappy with Tear Trough Injections (Volbella, Restylane, Belotero)--reverse with hyaluronidase If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement under the eyes. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
