What can I do to make my lumpy stomach and c-section flap disappear? (Photo)

At this time, tummy tuck is the best approach to improving the lumpiness of the abdomen and removing the excess skin above the c section scar. It is difficult to tell from the photos if all the irregularities will be addressed by the tummy tuck.Formal evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon will be the best way to determine what degree of improvement can be achieved.

Hello,You could just have revision liposuction, but you would be best treated with liposuction and abdominoplasty to fix all the issues you are having. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. I believe that the reason you have lumpiness is that you had liposuction and in fact probably were a better candidate for a tummy tuck. I think that a tummy tuck would greatly improve your contour and lumpiness and also improve your c section scar. 

Seek consultations nearest you to determine if you are a good candidate for abdominoplasty. Liposuction alone will not be useful

You might be a good candidate for Tummy Tuck or another lipo on the abdomen and flanks area. It is always good to evaluate with more photos by a surgeon so that they can give you the best recommendation. Best of luck 

The "lumpiness" that showed up after the liposuction usually comes from uneven liposuction. That problem can be improved with abdominoplasty as can the c-section scar.

Unfortunately without a examination I can advise you in general terms, however I hope you will find them helpful.Based on your photos, a history of c-section and abdominal irregularities after liposuction I believe you are a good candidate for a abdominoplasty. Obviously you entire medical history would need be reviewed prior to surgery.The SPECFIC type of abdominoplasty performed will be based upon:1)your anatomy2)your goals3) your Plastic Surgeons experienceAfter pregnancy and/or weight loss several physiological events occur that can not be corrected with just diet and exercise:1) the skin looses some of its visco/elastic properties (ability to recoil) from being stretched. With further weight loss or liposuction the skin will sag further.2) the space between two two rectus abdomenis muscles (which run from your rib cage to the pubic bone) become larger and does not return to their pre pregnancy/weight loss position referred to as diastasis recti. This results in the abdominal bulge when the muscles are relaxed.3) in addition a c-section scar can aggravate the appearance of the hanging skin because of the scar attachment to the underlying tissues.4) the areas of most "lumpiness" appear in your photo to that tissue that would be resected in a abdominoplasty.Liposuction alone will reduce the the amount fat, however the skin will hang more.Liposuction is often incorporated/included with a abdominoplasty to help contour the flank areas (love handles/hip areas).However it is not advised to perform liposuction of the upper abdomen at the time of abdominoplasty for fear of injuring the blood vessels that supply the lower abdominal tissue. This liposuction can often be completed under local anesthesia several months after healing of the abdominal incision.I recommend that you:1) make a list of your questions2) make several consultative appointments with Plastic Surgeons who are experienced and Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
