I had liposuction on my abdomen 6 days ago and now I have these big black and purple spots. Is this normal? (Photo)

I am suprised your physician didn't discuss in detail your post operative healing and the fact that bruising , will often show up many days later and often is a result of the compression garment themselves.  I suggest following your post operative instructions, protecting your skin from your compression garment, and starting post operative massages and radiofrequency treatments like venus legacy or velashape at this point to improve the long term results.  Best, Dr. Emer.

After liposuction, there will always be some bleeding, swelling and sensitivity changes. This looks completely normal after a lipo case, especially in areas where the blood settles.
