Just got Versa lip filler on upper lip 4 days ago, will these lumps go away? (Photos)

Question

Just got Versa lip filler on upper lip 4 days ago. It looks and feels lumpy when I smile. It’s not symmetrical and It also looks like there is no filler on the ends. Will this get better?

Fillers can often absorb water in the first few days causing lumps or irregularities. I suggest applying Plato's Bruise Balm twice daily for a few days after injecting my patients. If the filler lumps do not resolve, then a small injection of Hylenex usually can correct an HA filler that is overdone. 
In some cases, Venus Viva RF can help tighten skin thereafter.

There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer

It’s hard to say what is going on looking at the photos. I would wait a week or so until the swelling goes down and then have your injector evaluate you.

Thankyou for your question. My thoughts is that the lumps will not disappear but you need to give it 2 weeks to settle. If the lumps are still there i would go back to your injector and have the lumps dissolved with hylase. Good luck
