Dimple/ridge under lower lip. Would any type of filler correct this? (Photo)

Question

I have always had these two ridges under my lower lip above my chin. I recently got 1ml of teosyal mostly in my upper lip but it hasn’t affected it in any way. Would any type of filler correct this ? Can it be corrected?

ou would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip and can camouflage this. Technique will be important here, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert.

Thank you for your question. Answering this question is not easy because without a  proper in-person consultation it is hard to determine the reason for the dimple in the first place. Adding volume to your lips with more fillers may actually make the dimpling more pronounced. See a doctor who is interested in investigating the cause of the dimple so that they will have a better idea of how to treat it and with what products. Best regards, Dr. Bector

the dimple under your chin is present. It seems more like tethering from inside like a little band. It could have been exacerbated by having filler in upper lip. You ship;d get a good consultation and examination to determine whats the cause of this. It could be genetic and you may find some other family member may have it too.
Still for correction, definitely need detailed exam. Hope it helps.
