Yes, .5 ml will make a subtle difference. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns.

You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. .5 ml will make a subtle improvement. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Starting with 1 cc syringe is the usual amount someone would begin with lip fillers. Your lips will swell after initial injection and after 4-14 days of allowing them to settle and you still feel as if you want more, you should contact your current cosmetic physician and he/she can address the area.
