Question

I am interested in looking into getting a few hairs transplanted through single extraction not strip, at the Centre front and some hairline areas. My question is, I haven’t seen any woman on the reviews have this done, is it successful with women? And are there any pills that have side effects that need to be taken after? Eg, hormonal pills, or that mouse with the growth ingredients in it that is required to be taken?

FUE is only a harvesting method.  Patients choose the FUE method to avoid the linear scar while accepting it may not be optimal.  More importantly FUE requires shaving your head.

You have beautiful hair. Your hairline could be strengthened with about 300 grafts, single hairs. You would do better with FUT in this case: such a small transplant would produce a scar that is completely unnoticeable. FUE would require shaving a rather large area; FUT would not. The only growth ingredient proven to actually grow hair is minoxidil.

Yes FUE is very succesfull op for frontal hair design in woman.I adivce you to have FUE  with 1500 -1800 grafts. Hair transplant can be an option for forehead reduction,  correcting  receding hair line and asymmetry on your frontal hair line/forelock.I advice you have a FUE; you would get the desired hairline in just one sesssion of dense packing hair transplant. 
  
During the placement of follicular units there will be a mixture of single, double and a few triple grafts, which help to create the soft look of a natural hairline. For the first few lines always go for single grafts, later doubles Triples and others.So that a smooth transition will be there giving undetectable hair transplants.

It is a very commonly performed procedure. The newer automated FUE technique is the way to go. I would contact your local hair restoration surgeon and have a personalized consult to see how many grafts you will need. You probably will not need a lot.

Thank you for your question, You would need 1100 to 1400 hair graft in order to achieve a nice dense hairline. Determination of the number of follicles may also vary as per your expectations, how lower you want your hairline to be and also on the quality of hair your donor area has, If your hair are thin we may require more hair grafts to create a dense hairline. A transplant will definitely cover your thin spots and also help you lower the hairline.
