It may take six to twelve months to appreciate the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.  There should be no reason why you can't go on vacation.

Bald patches are not normal.  It is best to see a doctor for an examination and diagnosis.  You can't treat it unless you know what it is.

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.  You should be able to use anything after two months.

You need to see your doctor for an examination and diagnosis if you believe you have alopecia areata.   Photos are not enough.

Can you do FUE (or multiple sessions) and then do FUT if you run out of donor grafts with FUE?

There is only a finite number of donor hair you have.  FUE and FUT are just one way to harvest hairs.  If you want to keep your hair short, FUT will not be your best choice.
