Is it possible to put 1800cc or more into your buttocks during a Brazilian Butt Lift?

hello im a big girl with big thighs...and was wondering if it was possible to get around 1800cc or more injected into butt? i've only seen max. 1400cc and i dont think 1400 would do anything for me

It's not about volume, it's about fat survival.Simply injecting huge blobs of fat without adequate living tissue to surround the grafts and allow survival and long-term retention will simply look good initially, and then progressively turn into hard nodules of dead fat (fat necrosis) and gradually-diminishing volume as the dead fat cells are reabsorbed over many months. This latter fact is the reason that many surgeons "get away with" huge volume fat grafting that never had a chance to survive and should have been done in stages.If you're a "big girl" with big thighs, you have ample donor sites, but trying to graft this volume of fat into your buttocks is liable to only end in long-term dissatisfaction and potentially terrible outcome (firm nodules, cellulite appearance, and gradual loss of volume over one year or more--it takes that long for your body to clear the dead fat.)Beware what you ask for--this volume of fat grafting is possible but absolutely NOT recommended! Yes, it is possible, if the patient is large enough and has a large enough buttock as well. I always try to transfer the optimal amount of tissue to the optimal tissue cells. Be cautious of over-grafting.  Over-grafting can create less survival of fat and compromise the outcome. I have done 900-1000cc per butt cheek in large enough patients before.

In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

There is a certain capacity of fat that the buttocks can handle and each person's buttocks are obviously different. In addition, the amount of fat harvested ( removed) in one setting should be limited to avoid complications associated with high volume liposuction especially if it is done in an outpatient setting. Sometimes these have to be staged to get the volume desired.

  and has privileges to do this surgery at a local university hospital. This
  says his credentials have been checked out by fellow Drs. All surgeries carry
  risk, talk to your plastic surgeon and choose one wisely.
