I've always hated my nose. The thing I hate most is how big and round it is, the roundness of it makes me afraid to get a nose job because I assume that even after my nose job that the tip of my nose will still be that big round nose. I don't want my nose too tall since my bridge is already tall, I just want to read doctors opinions and see what you guys would do to my nose.
Answer: I don't llike how my nose is big and round, what would you recommend to fix it? Thanks for your inquiry. It appears from your photos that you would benefit from a rhinoplasty procedure that focuses on enhancing the nasal tip. In addition to creating a narrower shape, the tip can be projected slightly to eliminate the flattened look and create a more delicate contour. A combination of reshaping and cartilage grafting might be the best approach for you, given the thicker texture of your skin and the amount of correction needed. Of course, these are just guesses based on the photos you provided. Your best approach is to find a plastic surgeon that has extensive experience in all types of rhinoplasty techniques, who could customise your procedure to your precise needs and facial proportions. It will be helpful to bring photos to your initial consultation to give your surgeon an accurate idea of the types of results you would like to achieve. Best of luck to you!- Andrew L. Answer: Asian Rhinoplasty The thickness of your skin will limit the amount of refinement that is possible with the tip of your nose during rhinoplasty. The challenge with thick skin is that even if definition is created to the nose and cartilage underneath the skin, these changes will not show through the skin. In these cases additional support and structure is necessary to create definition in the tip of the nose. If you want the best idea of what is possible for your nose, do your due diligence, find an experienced surgeon, and have him/her evaluate you in person and discuss your options. Looking at computer-morphed images with your surgeon during consultation will give you a good idea of what is possible, and also give you a great chance to convey to your surgeon what you envision.

Answer: Nose too big and round Hi amandasy1313,The reason that your nose is so big and round is due to the tip being flattened. The tip cartilages in your case need to have a little more projection. The way that this can be successfully accomplished with proper tip support and potential grafting of the tip. I prefer to avoid grafting of the tip, if possible, but in cases where the skin is thick and the cartilages are weak, this is sometimes necessary. I do not think that you need anything done with the bridge of your nose, just the nasal tip.If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know!
