Will Taking Propecia (Finasteride) Affect Rhinoplasty Healing?

I am planning a minor revision rhinoplasty and wondered whether the 1/mg per day of Finasteride (brand name Propecia) will affect healing in any way? I take it for hair loss reasons. I was concerned it may increase swelling in the post operative period.

Propecia will not affect the swelling or healing of your rhinoplasty.  It will be fine to continue taking the medication.

Propecia should not interfere with the healing during the rhinoplasty process.  It is also best check with your surgeon, prior to undergoing the procedure
