Will Taking Propecia (Finasteride) Affect Rhinoplasty Healing?

I am planning a minor revision rhinoplasty and wondered whether the 1/mg per day of Finasteride (brand name Propecia) will affect healing in any way? I take it for hair loss reasons. I was concerned it may increase swelling in the post operative period.

I advise my patients to avoid any medication which is a vasoconstrictor for 6 weeks post surgery if possible.  Since it sounds like your Ritalin use is elective I would wait at least that long before resuming use.
