I am looking for an extra natural look. I currently have a moderate profile implant subfascial. I do not like the upper pole fullness & have developed capsular contracture on both sides. I like the large, flat, & soft look of the models on the pictures. Is this look achievable on someone who started with a A cup? Also I cannot find pictures of patient with low profile implants, it would help if anyone has any :)
Answer: Low profile I personally do not use low profile implants because they are flat pancakes and are too wide. You might do better going with a smaller implant.

Answer: Breast Implants Thank you for your question. Yes they would improve them. Breast implants are medical devices implanted under the breast tissue or chest muscle to increase breast size (augmentation) or to replace breast tissue that has been removed because of cancer or trauma, or that has failed to develop properly because of a severe breast abnormality (reconstruction). The FDA has approved implants for increasing breast size in women, for reconstruction after breast cancer surgery or trauma, and to correct developmental defects. Implants are also approved to correct or improve the result of a previous surgery. The FDA has approved two types of breast implants: saline-filled (salt water solution) and silicone gel-filled. Both have a silicone outer shell and vary in size, shell thickness, shell surface texture, and shape (contour).

Answer: Implant size and type Dear osenadoll, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: How about low profile implants Thanks for your questions. Low profile implants are wider and have less projection. So if you don't like the superior fullness with a moderate implant, that upper fullness will be worse. I would like to give you exact options, but without knowing what you currently have and the width of your chest/breasts, I can't say what will work best. I suggest that you seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with secondary breast augmentations, and discuss your best options.
