Your problems of diarrhea and increased urination should have nothing to do with your sculpsure treatment. This laser only affects your fat cells in the subcutaneous fat. It will not penetrate your abdominal wall and will not affect your intestines or bladder. There also are no systemic side effects. These issues are coincidental. Please consult your doctor if you have continued problems.
Thank you for your question. I suggest that you discuss your recovery process with your board certified facial plastic surgeon. Bruising and swelling are the most common side effects of SculpSure, and are temporary that subside within a few weeks.Best wishes,
Since Sculpsure only penetrates to the fat cells beneath the skin's surface, the symptoms that you described are unlikely to be from the treatment and would seek out advice and evaluation from your primary care physician
Your body's lymphatic system eliminates the fat cells destroyed by the Sculpsure treatment via your urine and sweat. Likely, the increased urination is the result of this lymphatic elimination process. Additionally, you should be drinking more water after the Sculpsure treatment to assist your body's lymphatic system and if you are, you should be urinating more frequently. As for the GI symptoms, we've treated more than 600 patients with Sculpsure and have not heard this complaint. That being said, the Sculpsure treatment causes stress to the body and all of us respond differently to stressors. Give your body another day or two to level out. If the GI problems persist, we recommend you first notify your Sculpsure provider, then contact your primary care provider for evaluation. We hope you have great results from your Sculpsure treatment.Beautiful wishes,Roberta Krueger, M.D.Sculpt Away body shaping + beauty loungeSan Antonio, Texas
SculpSure, the world's first FDA indicated laser for non surgical fat reduction targets fat cells. The laser does not penetrate into the body, so it should not affect the digestive tract or the urinary tract. I believe that this is just a coincidence or if related will be very temporary and resolve soon without any treatment.Good Luck!
Everyone's body responds differently to the stress of any procedure -- whether it be surgical or non-surgical. The increased urination is hopefully because you have increased your water intake. It's really important to stay hydrated following SculpSure. It will help your lymphatic system. If the intestinal yo-yo does not improve on it's own over the next 3 or 4 days then schedule an appointment to see your doctor. Best of luck.
i think this is just a coincidence. Sculpsure melts on the fat in the subcutaneous tissue so i am certain that your GI . problems have nothing to do with it. You should see your family dr or a gastroenterologist.david berman md
Thank you for your question. I suggest that you discuss with your board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about recovery. Each treatment reduces about 25% of the remaining fat in the treated area and the maximal improvement point is about 12 weeks post-SculpSure. Best wishes,
Depending on your expectations, and the clinical examination its between surgical removal, vs Coolsculpting. SculpSure is extremely unpredictable in the response, especially in this area. Dr Davin Lim .The Fiori Institute.
While it is possible for a patient to have redness, swelling, sensitivity, or some irritation or tenderness at the treatment site, most patients don’t have any discomfort at all. There is no down time following the procedure, meaning patients can resume all normal activities immediately after t...
