Single suture brow lift - cost?

Question

I want to do the single suture brow lift. The surgeon I consulted with of Botox said that I cannot get the lift I desire by Botox. I could get a max lift of .5 mm I think is what she said. Another surgeon in the past told me something similar and mentioned a face lift (the surgeon who did my lips and consulted with me in person said I have a youthful face and do not need a face lift). I have since read about "the single thread brow lift". I'd like more info on this procedure- cost, down time etc

Most often a brow lift is done as an endoscopic procedure where small incisions are made in the hairline and special surgical elements are used to make the cosmetic corrections. I suggest that you move forward and consult with your board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Single surgical threads were taken off the market by the FDA years ago because they're ineffective. We have seen significant complications occurring from these techniques. A full set of facial photographs are required to make a determination about even being a candidate for a brow lift procedure. There are many issues to evaluate for a brow lift procedure, which include the height of the eyebrows, the asymmetry of the eyebrows, the height of the hairline, the strength of the corrugator, frontalis, and procerus muscles of the forehead, and whether not there is vertical or horizontal wrinkling in the forehead itself. It's best to seek out a surgeon who has extensive experience with brow lifting procedures to even see if your candidate for the procedure itself. I'm not sure who you spoke to about that procedure but I would be totally surprised if it was an experienced and board certified plastic surgeon. That is a procedure the nonsurgically trained spa doctors pedal. Don't do it. You will find it a total waste of your money and possible wind up with complications that are hard or impossible to correct.
