Thank you for your question. It would be helpful to know how long ago you had the botox, and what your goals are for receiving botox. A brow lift can address the wrinkles and crease that developed on your forehead, on the bridge of your nose, and elsewhere that creates frown lines. It is important that you understand a brow lift is a long-term and permanent solution while the botox is a temporary solution. I suggest that you discuss with the board certified facial plastic surgeon that performed your botox.Best wishes,
It looks as though you have had too much Botox on the forehead which is creating a droop of the muscles. Iopidine eye drops will be helpful but you may also find that additional Botox can be used to lift the eyebrows back up and can work to raise the brow and the eyelid. Please ensure you visit a practitioner with plenty of experience in this technique if you decide to try this. You may of had a bad experience this time resulting in a dropping brows but this doesn't and won't always happen so don't let this deter you. Try to visit another practitioner next time who is highly experienced and will know the right doseage as well as the right areas to inject to minimise the chances of this happening again. The skin and muscle should bounce back to where it was before and you'll see this happen gradually within 3-6 months.
Comparing the photos, there appears to be some subtle lowering of the brows in the region of the bridge of the nose, which may account for the appearance of the horizontal line following the Botox treatment. If related to the Botox, you have two options: 1) Simply wait until the Botox wears off (usually between 3-6 months), or 2) A very tiny amount of a filler, such as Belotero Balance or Teosyal Redensity 2, can be injected directly under the line to lift and smooth it. Both are simple solutions that require no surgery or other fancy maneuvers. For whatever treatments you get, you would do well to make certain that you are being treated by a board certified aesthetic physician. Best of luck
It is difficult to tell just by the pictures but it seemslike your medial brows are lower in the post Botoxpictures. This may represent lowering of the frown tissues area and can be related to the line. Allow the Botox to resolve and if the line is gone discuss your options with your board certified plastic surgeon.Best wishes.
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
Hello TrishaBrow lift patients should expect to leave the surgery center with taping or light dressing, depending on the surgeon’s preference. This will be removed during the first week following surgery. Bruising and swelling are normal at this point, and temporary asymmetry is very common. M...
