Answer: Irregularities and asymmetry after browlift surgery It is true that there can invariably be areas of contour irregularities after almost any surgery on the face. These are not completely avoidable, but fortunately are usually mild, largely resolve over time, and are tolerable in light of the overall improvement in appearance. Two weeks is VERY early! So try to be patient, and focus on the aspects of the results that you DO like. It is very likely that the aspects you don't will resolve to your satisfaction. In the meantime, occasionally a little botox or dysport can be used during the early healing phase to improve that contour. Best of luck!

Answer: Bumpiness expected in the area of the surgery The main area requiring elevation in the brow lift procedure is exactly the area of concern seen on your pictures. Surgery was performed at the level of the brow to elevate it. Contour irregularities are common here and generally slowly get better. It is important to continue follow up visits with your surgeon to keep a close eye on the healing progress. Typically, contour irregularities can take up to 6 weeks. Speak with your surgeon to see if massage would not be an option. At least 6 weeks is needed to appraise whether the asymmetry persists or not. I have seen many subtle brow asymmetries resolve over time. Revision surgery for brow contour irregularities is unusual. Revision surgery for asymmetry can happens on occasion.
