What’s my best option for skin tightening in neck? (Photos)

Question

I had a consultation with a plastic surgeon for a neck lift and he advised that I should be more conservative and do a SkinTyte series instead. He said if I still wanted more tightening I could then do Accutite. I have completed five SkinTyte treatments and do not see any difference. It’s been three months since the first treatment so maybe there will be improvement, but I’m doubtful because I’ve noticed no improvement so far. Should I bother with Accutite or is there a better surgical option?

FaceTite is an option to improve skin laxity of the neck and lower jaw.  It is minimally invasive and does not require general anesthesia.  Results can be enhanced by adding Morpheus8 treatments to address overall skin tone and texture. I would complete the full SkinTite course and if you do not see any further improvement after 3-6 months I would recommend that you discuss your concerns with your surgeon and consider having a neck lift. I agree with your surgeon in that trying to get results from a more conservative approach is best. I do not think that AccuTite will help if the SkinTite did not help.

Hi our office has accutite/facetite and so far we really like it.   Was your Skin Tyte a completely external treatment?   I think there should be some outcome at 6 months but you may be a patient who just doesn't respond to this and instead additional treatments would be needed.  Switching to more invasive treatments like Accutite is definitely something to consider.  Necklifts and suture suspension at the same time as getting a facetite treatment may get you the results you are looking for.  Best Wishes!!

In my opinion, to delineate whether one needs surgery versus a non-invasive option, the status of the platysma muscles is the key. For a non-invasive option, the new Profound device provides excellent results. However, in your case there is a component of platysma banding.
