Would a non-surgical nose job fix my crooked nose, or do I need a rhinoplasty? (photos)

I've included photos of my nose. I'd like to protect my privacy so that's why It's cropped and I've blacked out my eyes. I've never had surgery so going under the knife seems daunting. My nose is crooked. Many people have remarked they can't even notice it but it's a big insecurity of mine. I don't mind it being slightly crooked, but at certain angles I feel it looks deformed & large, so I'm interested in a non-surgical procedure or rhinoplasty. What do you think? How much is the cost?

Thank you for your question and photos. It is difficult to tell from the images whether a nonsurgical rhinoplasty might be a good option for you. This procedure can smooth out bumps on the nasal bridge and even correct some asymmetry when performed by an experienced, qualified injector. Surgical rhinoplasty offers more dramatic, long-lasting results. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a very experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess you in person and determine the best treatment plan for your needs and goals. Cost will vary based on the specific work needed, the experience of your surgeon, and your area. Never choose a surgeon based on price alone. Rhinoplasty is a highly complex procedure that requires a great deal of experience and expertise to ensure an optimal outcome.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is adding filler to camouflage a hump, extend a nasal tip to make it look higher and fill the narrow side of a crooked nose. All of these procedures will make the nose larger. Often that is not an issue, but with crooked noses, the nose might appear significantly wider to make it look straight. The cost of rhinoplasty varies by region and surgeon. You should find a surgeon who’s results fit your personal aesthetic. You have one nose and should get it done right the first time. Find a doctor who performs mostly rhinoplasty and has the proper credentials. Don’t do it by price.

We do not recommend non--surgical rhinoplasty since it is only temporary, and cannot straighten a crooked nose. it's also not FDA approved for that application, and can have significant complications. A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump, refinement of the nasal tip, and insertion of spreader graphs in the midportion of the nose, and osteotomies placed in the nasal bones to straighten them as well. All the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose.No external incisions are required, no painful packing is required either. Anticipate a cast applied across the bridge of the nose for one week.
