I've had really intense jaw pain and headaches for years, but didn't realize how bad it had become until my dentist mentioned it during my last teeth cleaning since she heard my jaw clicking. She recommended a mouth guard, but it hasn't helped with my pain. I was wondering if botox would help with this, and if so, if it is covered by insurance? Additionally, is it something to bring up with a primary care doctor or a dentist? Thank you for any help!

Botox and other neuromodulator resistance is rare but real. PDO threads for wrinkle control/reduction is a great option is this case whether you have natural or induced resistance.
I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are having from your Botox treatment. Botox results are temporary and will gradually fade over three to four months. There is no reversal agent for Botox.
