I had Bell's palsy in Oct 2023, and I promptly received treatment w/ steroids, which resulted in a great recovery. However, there are some minor facial issues that I would like to address such as masseter muscle, undereye wrinkles, lift my eyebrows, and balance my face. I consulted a dr in Tijuana who expressed concerns that any application of Botox may trigger a new episode of Bell's palsy. Could you clarify whether receiving Botox poses a risk of causing Bell's palsy to recur?
Botox beneath my eye line makes my malar bags look worse. So I ask what procedure I could have to reduce these particular wrinkles. My plan was to get botox regularly to prevent wrinkles. Forehead and eye area. I think fillers would also make the bag more pronounced? Ive not had fillers before. Ive heard a mini facelift ( say in ten years, not now ) would be inappropriate? Photos are of untreated face. No botox for 7 months.
I'm 27, but noticed my skin looks different than it did 4 years ago. I've focused a lot on improving my diet and exercise, over the past 4 years, and started exercising at 23. My stress management is something I'm currently working on. Why does my skin look different in just four years? I see more fine lines and darker under eye circles.
I'm 26, nearly 27, but feel like my eyes age me quite a bit. I'm insecure about the deep lines under my eyes, and have also noticed the crow's feet getting deeper through my 20s. Would I be a good candidate for Botox in these areas?
2 yrs of Btx w good result at derm. 7.5 months ago at their rec. I recd under eye Btx to bad result (swelling/ laxity & fluid at eye/cheek junction. Swelling/ fluid mostly gone, but jelly roll on rt. side is blown out and flat. 3 derms and ophtho said baseline by 6 mos. Plas surg said muscles are so overstretched they are blown out like overstretched rubber band. Is it reasonable the muscles might still repair after this time? Anything to help muscles heal? To help asym. appearance? Please!
I had an upper and lower eye lift 2 months ago. I'm happy with the results but my under eye wrinkles are still awful when I smile. My doctor says not take anymore skin as it could lead to complications and wouldn't help that much. He said I have so much volume in my face fillers wouldn't be a good idea Are there any other options? Botox? CO2? At some point I will get a face and neck lift (post weight loss) will fat grafting to the eyes help. This bothers me so much.
The last photo with my hair straight is 13 years prior to the ones I just took. I used to have fat pads under my eyes that I disliked. I never got them removed because I knew I would lose the fat as I got older. Here I am now and the skin under my former puffier eye is loose and crinkly. I would prefer not to get surgery but want it fixed. I'm Spanish so my skin tends to hyper and hypo pigment. Is microneedling and Botox the answer? Fractura? Plasma tightening? What would you do? Based in park city and Raleigh - help please!
