I got an arm lift done in 2023 and a revision in 2025. I was left with a “dog ear” flap near the elbow. Would this be an in office procedure?

Thank for your question, Yes, in the vast majority of cases, a "dog ear" flap near the elbow can easily be corrected as a minor procedure under local anesthesia.

A "dog ear" is a very common minor contour issue following an arm lift (brachioplasty). A small residual flap near the elbow may sometimes be addressed with a relatively minor revision, depending on how much excess skin and scar tissue are present and how the incision was originally designed.

Whether it can be done comfortably in the office, under local anesthesia, or would be better performed in a surgical setting depends on the size of the area and the amount of correction needed.

Since you have already had a revision, I would recommend an in-person examination before deciding. The goal would be to correct the contour while preserving the quality and position of the existing scar.
