I have wide hips, short waist and small chest. Will anything make me more proportionate? (photos)

Breast enhancement is one of the things to contour the body; in fact most women want implants to look more feminine and balance their figure as opposed to having larger breasts, per say. Smaller and more proportionate breast implants are more popular in the northwest and northeast parts of the country as well as in Europe and Japan. The national trend is to go to smaller breast implants as even those celebrity women who known for being well endowed are downsizing their breasts.These surgeries can result in breast lifts and support materials and can be expensive. A breast augmentation will certainly change the shape of your body, but whether it will be what you want is up to you. I would suggest that you schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss. You will need an in person exam to determine the size and type of implant. Hard to answer this question without your photos or an in person exam. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon who can examine and evaluate you and recommend the best options for you. I suspect some degree of liposuction/fat grafting may help you get the results you are looking for! Good luck!

I would suggest that you meet with board-certified plastic surgeons to discuss your goals in person. In my opinion, the more "visual aids" you can demonstrate to your plastic surgeon, the better. The use of goal photographs and computer imaging may be very helpful. 

On the contrary, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup" or  "proportionate" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.

Wide hips are caused generally by bone structure (unalterable) and fat pockets such as the saddlebags.  The fat can be sculpted but at your weight it's difficult to say how much of a factor that is.When women have small chests and wider bottoms I find that some wish breast enlargement for better proportioning, yet others feel that it will make them look heavier or bigger and are concerned.  There is no one answer however a simple test would be to stuff a bra under your blouse and see how you feel it affects your proportioning.  Meet with an ABPS Bd Certified surgeon in your area to at least assess his/her recommendations in person and good luck.  Dr. Perlman
