I had high profile 300 cc three months ago. I wanted to go bigger but doctor said it didn't fit. One of the doctors online by looking at pictures said that it looks like i developed star gazing pseudoptosis and that my implants are too small and narrow. To be honest I don't understand what it is and what it means. Do you agree that i have star gazing pseudoptosis? if so what is it and how can it be fixed? or if you have any other concerns in regard to my implants please let me know. Thank you!

Answer: 3 months postop I think the more important question is if you are happy with your results! Your implants fit you but if you want to go larger, best to consult with your operating surgeon to see when would be a good time to "upsize". Star gazing refers to nipples that are too high on the breast mound but your lateral picture seems to show your nipple just above the fold.

Answer: Star Gazer Ideally, you want your nipple/areola complex on the meridian or the central portion of your breast mound. In reality, most people are no where near that and have great looking breasts. A lower nipple/areola complex is better tolerated than a high nipple/areola complex even though a higher one looks perky. Higher nipple/areola complexes are often referred as star gazers. I really don't think it is a bad thing but in certain bikini tops, it may be hard to cover the areola because it will be at the narrowest part. The real question is wether you like your breasts. I am sure that your present results can be predicted from your preoperative anatomy. Larger wider breast implants can close your space between your breasts. The Inspira breast implants will give you more fullness at the top. If you want to stay the same size, fold tightening and fold resection will help.Overall, this not a difficult problem to resolve if you are unhappy. Best Wishes, nana Mizuguchi
