Based on your photo, a dose of 50 units divided equally between your left and right masseter is likely to deliver a nice result.  Pricing will vary geographically, and from physician to physician.  Finding an surgeon experienced in Botox for masseter reduction will ensure the best results.  

Based on your photograph, you could probably benefit from masseter injections to decrease the volume of your masseter muscle along your jawline. I usually start with 20 Botox units per side for jaw line contouring. More can be added at a follow up appointment if needed. Without feeling the substance of your masseter muscle, I can't say if I would inject more in you or not.The cost of Botox varies from city to city and from Doctor to Doctor. Some charge by the area treated and others by the number of units used.  In my practice, we charge by the unit. I think this is the most transparent way for the patient to prevent overcharging. Our regular Botox price is $12/ unit.Also, be sure your injector is a core injectable physician (facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or dermatologist). You will need several treatments anywhere between 20-30 units per side, meaning 40-60 units per session. Typical prices are $ 10-14 per unit except in NYC where it may be as high as $18 per unit.
