Can Exilis and SculpSure be used at the same time?

I'm going to do Sculpsure but am thinking of doing Exilis at the same time to tighten the skin. How long should I wait after Sculpsure? Does the Exilis kill the fat cells also?

Thank you for your question. Sculpsure and Exilis Ultra are both great treatments and can be paired together. Sculpsure will reduce most of the fat while Exilis Ultra can tighten the skin as well as reduce some fat. Although they can be combined in the same treatment plan we do not recommend doing them together in the same day. We would wait at least 24 hours in between modalities if treating the same area. We usually recommend a series of 6 Exilis Ultra treatments every 7-14 days and Sculpsure we recommend a series of 2 treatments 6 weeks apart.

SculSure and Exilis are great complimentary treatments. Sculpsure will destroy fat cells, while exilis will help tighten the skin. Although Exilis does have some fat destroying properties, it's not nearly effective as SculpSure at this task.

You were wanting to know if Exilis and SculpSure could be used at the same time. SculpSure is a 1064 wavelength diode laser that is applied to the skin to target fat deeper. It generates heat and so there is collagen stimulation from the heat as well. Exilis uses radio frequency, part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and is not a laser. Both devices work by elevating the temperature of fat to 42 C to destroy fat. The newest Exilis uses cooling to either go deeper to get fat or no cooling to stimulate collagen superficially. The more fat destroyed the more triglycerides need to be converted to energy, so there really is a limit in a session to the amount of fat the liver can handle. I would recommend one at a time, and feel both could give tightening. I currently only use Exilis and also a different 1064 laser to reduce fat. I have not used SculpSure, but have read about it, and think either modality should give similar results.
