Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis. Unfortunately, Exilis cannot be performed on anyone who has a pacemaker, metal implants, copper IUD or who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Per the manufacturer, these are contradictions to having the treatment. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. Hello there! No, I would not recommend Exilis if you have had any type of metal implanted into your body. There is a risk of the metal heating up and causing injury to the tissue surrounding it. If your concern is body contouring, there are other procedures that can be done. Good luck! Sarah RN BSN
