Hi I am concerned about the 'armpit fat' or I have seen several things online some people would call an auxiliary breast. I work out frequently, 3-4 times a week. However, this area has been very stubborn and doesn't go away. I don't know if it is because of my breast size, 36C. I'm a college student currently but try to eat healthy on campus.

Answer: Armpit fat you've received several different opinions regarding proper treatment for this.In my experience it is rarely necessary to resect extra skin. Liposuction alone should do nicely free you in that area. If it were more lateral actually in the armpit itself then resection is more likely.Certainly there is little harm and starting with a less invasive procedure that is just liposuction.

Answer: Armpit fat or axiliary breast tissue? Your area of concern is likely a combination of fat and breast tissue. Contouring of this area can often be done with liposuction alone although it can take a long time for the swelling and firmness that occurs after lipo to settle down. This is a hard area to compress after surgery. In rare cases, an actual excision may be necessary. You should be evaluated in person by an experienced plastic surgeon.
