The photograph demonstrates axillary breast tissue. All breast tissue is a combination of fat and glandular tissue when the tissue is predominantly fatty it can be substantially reduced by liposuction alone. In my own experience most patients benefit from a combination of liposuction as well as surgical excision.

information as well.. This is the surgical
procedure that revolutionized cosmetic surgery becoming one of the most
performed cosmetic procedures. Subcutaneous tissue or fat is removed in order
to contour the body in a way that is harmonious and pleasing to the senses. It
can be performed in almost all regions of the body such as the neck, chin,
abdomen, back, buttocks, thighs, arms and ankles. Usually done through a small

liposuction your body is going to be really swollen for at least 2 to 4 months

time. When you remove it, your body can get swollen and also you can have pain.
Remember to also compress your body to prevent a seroma which is an
accumulation of liquid that has to be drained, it is hard to touch and also
really painful. Bruises are completely normal for almost 3 months from surgery,
that’s why is better for you to use a bruising cream and apply it all over your
body 3 times a day. To prevent bad circulation and swollen legs, use
compression socks. Brazilian butt lift can be performed with the same procedure
and for a month it will be swollen and it will drop a little bit without losing

Only an in-person exam can really tell one from the other.  Many women have a small pocket of fat in this area that they hate.  It tends to bulge over the bra where it compresses the breast tissue.  Liposuction issometimes helpful in this case.  If physical exam revealed this to be actual breast tissue, then opensurgical excision would be superior to liposuction.

you've received several different opinions regarding proper treatment for this.In my experience it is rarely necessary to resect extra skin.  Liposuction alone should do nicely free you in that area.  If it were more lateral actually in the armpit itself then resection is more likely.Certainly there is little harm and starting with a less invasive procedure that is just liposuction.

Your area of concern is likely a combination of fat and breast tissue.  Contouring of this area can often be done with liposuction alone although it can take a long time for the swelling and firmness  that occurs after lipo to settle down.  This is a hard area to compress after surgery.  In rare cases, an actual excision may be necessary.  You should be evaluated in person by an experienced plastic surgeon. 

You are going to get a split decision on that one, some consultants will call it fat, others breast tissue. Until you are examined no one really knows, but on exam, fat and breast tissue can feel quite different. But as one consultant said, it doesn't hurt to try liposuction first to see what you can get, the problem with that is it is usually an incomplete and thus disappointing and a little expensive. Removal of the tissue is complete but leaves a scar which you may not want.
