I swear I don't mind scars. Already have other scars and had hamstring surgery at IT band. See below photo and tell me why can't I get this improved???????!!!!!!! I lift weights including squats, leg press and glute isolating machine. I run and swim, and was cycling for a few years up until an accident this summer. This butt problem makes me look like a couch potato.

Answer: Buttock shaping options Thank you for the question and photo. You have a few options available to you to address the area of concern including:-direct excision of loose skin at bottom of buttock-excisional buttock lift where skin is removed at the buttock/lower back border-buttock volume replenishment via augmentation by using buttock fat transferDiscuss all of these options with your prospective plastic surgeon to determine which procedure or set of procedures would be best for you.All the best,Dr Remus Repta

Answer: gluteal crease approach – not good. The buttock Shape is flat because of loss of volume not because of excess skin. Excising skin will only make the butt appear flatter and you will have the added scar. The solution here is fat transplantation. Best of luck.
