Age related question patient and implants (Photo)

The changes to the appearance of your breasts and chest are more related to the age related changes in your body, not implant related problems. If these are saline, and they're soft and symmetrical, don't touch the implant. Any improvement to the area is best dealt with by fat grafting.

I recommend my patients to exchange implants every 10 years in order to reduce the chance of complications. It is probably better to replace them now as you don't have health issues. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

If you are not having problems with your implants then you do not need replacements.

Thank you for your questions. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast revision surgery, and I have been in practice for almost 30 years. It is very common for me to a operate on patients for breast revision well into their 70s. You appear to be in good physical activity and shape. It should be no problem for you. Best wishes to you.

It’s a personal decision. If they are soft, no issues, can observe them until deflation or other concern.

Usually, exchange of implants should be fairly simple procedure even at advanced age if healthy.

Replacing them now still small risk of new scar tissue, capsule, etc.

Further discussion with your/ a plastic surgeon is recommended.

I would suggest going down in size and have the lift if needed. You did not post photos of what your breasts actually look like, so I cannot be specific. Go visit with a plastic surgeon.
