Gummy Bear Implants... dropping?

Thank you for your question and congratulations on your breast augmentation.  After placement of implants, the appearance of the breasts will change dramatically over the next several months, as the implants drop, and the overlying tissue stretches to accommodate the extra volume. In your case the swelling from surgery is flattening your implants and holding them high on your chest.  Though they will not get bigger, the volume within the implant will redistribute towards the lower portion of your breast achieving a more natural appearance, and filling your bra cup more.   I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. The first episode of dropping typically occurs in the 6-8 week range after surgery. Hope this helps.

They will change shape over months, not weeks. While the breasts get SMALLER over the first few months, because of shape changes they often are more projecting over time which leads to a "larger" appearance.

Posting photos ALWATS helps. The issue is the choice of incision location sometimes restricts pocket dissection interiorly, thus higher riding implants. Or the pectoral muscle is contracted state. If no drop by 3 months than only re operation can effect the drop effect by opening inferior pocket more. Best to see your chosen operative surgeon for a more detailed explanation.

since you are only 3 weeks out you have some time to go to get them to settle.so I would continue to massage.
