Blepharoplasty Surgeon

You must choose a highly experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with expertise in eyelid surgery. Plastic surgery, when performed by a qualified expert, is very safe and very effective. Your surgeon must have the Experience, Expertise, and show Exceptional results. This should be done in the hands of a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with expertise in Oculoplastic surgery.

The best doctor to perform blepharoplasty

Thank you for asking your question. The best doctor to perform your blepharoplasty is one who is highly experienced and skilled at handling simple eyelid procedures as well as managing complex cases or the complications of other surgeons. You should visit 2-3 surgeons to see who you feel most comfortable having perform your surgery. Asking your primary care physician about who are the good eyelid surgeons in your area is a good place to start. Ask to see before and after photos of patients with eyelids similar to yours. There are many great doctors who will perform your surgery very well.
Good luck.

What type of Doctor is best to have perform blepharoplasty?

Thank you for your question.  After identifying board certified plastic surgeons or oculoplastic surgeons to do a blepharoplasty, go with the one you feel most comfortable with and who seems to understand your desired results. Also be sure to assess their prior work through photographic examples.  Hope this helps.

Bleph surgeon

Plastic surgeons have performed blepharoplasty for years. Oculoplastic surgeons, who typically have opthomology training, specialize in all types of surgeries around the eyes, blepharoplasties included. ENT doctors, often with additional training in cosmetic facial procedures, are referred to as facial plastic surgeons and perform blepharoplasties. Best advice is to look for a well trained and experienced surgeon from these fields in your area. Visit their website and look at their before and after blepharoplasty pictures. Look at their online reviews. Then obtain one or more consultations to select the surgeon with whom you are most comfortable.

What type of Doctor is best to have perform blepharoplasty?

Thank you for your question.  There are several types of surgeons who do blepharoplasty, including plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons (ENTs) and oculoplastic surgeons (ophthalmologists).  Although we may be biased towards our own specialty, I would suggest that you find a surgeon who has plenty of experience in the procedure that you're looking to have and who has demonstrated consistent results.  Make sure they are board certified and that you're able to see their before and afters.  Good luck!

What type of doctor for blepharoplasty?

There are several specialities of doctors that could perform blepharoplasty.  These would include facial plastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and oculoplastic surgeons.  It is best to interview several doctors before choosing one to perform your procedure.  There is not one specialty that is generally better at blepharoplasty than another.  It really has more to do with the individual surgeon.
