How can I get hooded eyelids? (Photo)

Question

I don't know why, but I just want my upper eyelids to be hidden, like hooded eyes look. I just would look better with them. Eyes like the picture below. The skin under the eyebrow hides the upper eyelid. I want something like this.

Hello.  I love your question.  You can have fat or a filler injected in order to attempt to achieve the look that you desire.  Fat will likely require more than one injection, so know that before you have it done.  I don't know your age, but I am guessing that you are on the younger side.  If I am right, you may be posting a question for the exact opposite procedure in the future.  Make sure that you are 100% sure that this will make a big difference in your appearance and then start with a dermal filler that will naturally dissolve as opposed to a permanent one.  Don't jump into this unless you understand that the sensitive nature of the ocular region and its high visibility make such augmentation subject to greater than normal risk of aesthetic disappointment,

In the picture you provide you can see that the medial brow is very low.  This makes the distance between the lashes and brow very small so the lid is "hooded".  If you put some Botox into the forehead, and stay close to the brow you can probably drop your medial brow.  But it will stay that way for a few months.  A low medial brow can make you appear angry, so be careful.

You have a good eye! Fuller upper eyelids are actually youthful.  Look at any picture of a youthful eyelid and you actually will see very little upper lid skin.  Unfortunately, PS in the past, including me, have been taught to remove eyelid skin to get rid of that tired look.  This can lead to a skeletonized upper lid which actually ages the patient.So I now am very conservative with skin excision.  In your case you may or may not need excision, but I like to add fat grafting to the upper lid with or without a skin excision.  The fat is taken from your abdomen or other area ( very little) and added to the upper lid area.  This give a very sofr pouty full look.Just be sure the surgeon is experienced in fat grating to the area around the eye.  Recovery is about 5 days.
