Will pocket tightening & Galaflex help wide gap & 1 boob falling down? (Photos)

Question

I got my surgery 6 months ago and I'm scheduled for a revision. I have a wide gap and one of my boobs is falling down and off to the side. My surgeon says adding galaflex and pocket tightening will close the gap and give me more of a pushed up look without needing to go up in size. Do you think this will help? I have 250 & 270 and always thought the 250 looked smaller and that's the one that is going off to the side

breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.

At this time, I recommend a circumareola lift to reposition the nipple-areola complexes higher on the chest wall and more medial, plication of the pockets inferiorly and laterally and placing smaller implants.

Naturally, you have a wide gap between your breasts, and this cannot be removed nor can the bases of your breasts be moved. However, implants do help decrease the gap. The mesh can give more support to the weight of the implant. Adding fat medially can also be helpful to decrease the gap.

Dear 250and270,
That's a very good series of photos.  It seems to show that indeed the one breast was slightly larger than the other, justifying the breast implant size difference.  It also demonstrates that your implant migrated laterally progressively from month to month.  Pocket internal bra work +/- Galaflex would be the solution.  Going to a 270cc on that side would be between you and your surgeon.  Be aware that you might be expected to pay for a new implant.  Good luck!
