What are my options to improve my skin after liposuction? J plasma , j plasma + vaser lipo or lift ( what type of lift and where the scar will be)?
Answer: Liposuction results Dear Anon485745, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Better photos needed Hi, thank you for your question and photo. There are some options to prevent skin laxity after liposuction. To understand the best way for your situation, your plastic surgeon must see detailed pictures if physical examination is not possible yet. So it will be more useful if you can share better photos containing a wider angle and from different angles. Dr. Cagil Erenoglu

Answer: J-Plasma, Vaser lipo or lift to improve my skin after liposuction? (Photo) I recommend in person only consults... I would try micro fat grafting with Sulptra/Radeisse combination injections in multiple sessions. NEVER J=Plasma! FDA band its use...

Answer: Liposuction It is difficult to say what could resolve your specific issue, but it can be resolved with one of the techniques you mentioned. It is critical to consider not only the fat, but also the skin when thinking about liposuction and liposuction revision, which often times leads to needing a lift. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Skin tightening and looking for the holy grail It isn’t clear if you’ve already had Liposuction or are planning on having it in the future. Your skin contour is quite irregular which looks like either poorly done Liposuction or severe cellulite. Regardless skin tightening procedures do not directly address either one of those underlying ideologies. They left have different designs and different patterns depending on where are you is being improved or the extent of skin laxity in the patient. The truth is that we don’t have any great procedures for women with flabby thighs. The combination of skin laxity, cellulite an excess subcutaneous fat combined with loss of skin elasticity due to age is one of the hardest things to treat with impressive results. I have no faith that J plasma will do anything but make it more expensive and leave you an increased pain. I purchased the equipment and used it for a year and literally saw no skin tightening at all and neither did any of my patients during a full year of use. In my opinion the device does not deliver what it claims to. Considering how many issues this company has had with the FDA I’m not surprised I would put it above them to promote some thing that doesn’t actually work. In the end the most important valuable is finding the most experienced and talented provider. There isn’t some magical device or technology that’s going to make things better. Plastic surgeons have what they need to do their work and the difference in outcome is solely related to skill and experience. Even in the hands of highly experienced and talented providers what can be achieved may still not be all that great but some improvements can for sure be had. I’m sure if you lift up the skin on your thigh the contour is greatly improved. The problem is the doing a surgical thigh lift does not create the same impact as pulling on the skin with both hands. If you’ve had previous liposuction and your fat distribution is uneven because of poor work that needs to be addressed. To me it looks like fat was inappropriately removed in the banana roll area or the upper most part of the back of the thigh. Some providers do this in a belief that the buttocks will be enhanced but in the end it looks like a volume deficit or someone had a shark take a bite out of them. A Limited the post on real self isn’t going to get you much useful information. Patients who want assessments and have had previous procedures should always include proper before and after pictures. To get a quality assessment you need multiple in person consultations. If you’ve had previous surgery then come prepared by bringing before and after pictures and a copy of the operative report from your previous surgeon. You can get these from your surgeons office by requesting copies of your medical records including before and after pictures. I could be wrong and perhaps you’ve not had previous liposuction but the contour of your thigh does not look normal. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
